#FARMERSMARKETSAREOPEN, I emailed Gretchen Sterling, Manager of the Pasadena Farmers' Markets. She has informed us that it market will be open on Saturday March 21st. The Pasadena Farmers Market also has a facebook where they posted the information below. Yes Jen, we will be open Saturday. And our Facebook posts always mention shopping for those more fragile or unable to come out to shop themselves.
Farmer Markets are considered... Essential Services.
Farmer's have NO UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS!
Farmer's markets are not "gatherings" but a "passthrough" activity where you shop and then leave. You should monitor your own "social distancing" but families may shop together anywhere they go.
